Emma has trained under a range of instructors, including Ffion Davies and Ash Williams, and enjoys combining the styles and techniques of those different influences in her own game and teaching style. Emma strongly believes in the ethos of bio-mechanical jiu jitsu, whereby participants do not rely purely on their physicality to achieve success. Whilst Emma loves judo, she accepts her position as Grange Jiu Jitsu's resident guard-puller.
